Who am I?

I was born in south Sweden with vast flat grain-baring fields under a large beautiful sky as my landscape. My love affair with creativity started early. At the tender age of 8, I won an art competition that “set the sails” for my future. I have traveled through 96 countries across seven continents. This has greatly affected my perspective… You will probably feel it as you get to know my art.

I fell in love with the smiles of the Pearl of the Orient and resettled here. I have sometimes been called “The Renaissance Woman”, a ‘Woman for all seasons”, “Goldilocks”, “Rapunzel”. the Truth be told, ” the multitalented blond lady maybe” closer to the reality, as I’m a violinist, a pianist…and a multi-awarded painter… a seasoned graphics designer… and progressive and sensitive interior designer.

I was also invited to be a beauty queen and was awarded “Ambassador Queen of Environment” which enables to champion and interweave ecological sensibilities and unconditional love for humanity in all my artistic expressions. It has never been a choice of one over the other art form: they all connect within my soul and psyche to unleash avalanches of expression at any time, at all times.

What do I love to do?

Music…

My dad was a jazz pianist. As I often fell asleep to and also woke up to his live piano music, so music came naturally to me.
From age 7-20 I received classical private music education from famous Czechoslovakian Professor Zdenek Gola in violin. At age 10-15 I received classical piano lessons that expanded my jazz interest. It was an additional help in my pursuit of composing my own melodies.

Living in the Philippines has made it relaxed and easy for me to just take the violin and “gig” as they call it. I find it most enjoyable as it expands the mind and soul in a way only music can do.

What am I born to do?

Paint…!

Art became second nature to me, as easy as breathing.  It was never work. It was something I loved to do… period. And the saying that “do what you love, and you will never have to work another day in your life” made absolute sense to me.

At age 4, I was enthralled with the mixed aromas of oil paint, linseed oil, and turpentine! I discovered them while playing in my father’s secret room, called the Studio. My goodness, the memories those smells and that image evoked in me…it was possibly at that age that I knew I would be an artist!

Four years later at age 8, I won an art competition when I painted an impression of a theater play I had watched.  That victory convinced my young headstrong mind that I would be a famous artist one day.

At 16, I received an art scholarship…continued private music lessons that I loved and excelled in as well… and from that same creative force, found it easy to design and sew my own clothes, play violin and piano, and still become a graphic designer in my father’s very own printing company.

What I feel I need to do?

Take care of Children…!

People inspire me…their spirit…their energies…their idiosyncrasies…their peculiarities and uniqueness… thereof I help children that are unique (Chosen Children Village) but often helpless. I donate for their education, maybe operation for their cleft lip (Operation Smile)  because I was blessed with a big smile and happy spirit, I’d  share where ever I can to give children a smile.

I feel that education sets people free, thereof I develop my paintings of the purpose to make people think with an open mind as that gives creativity.

I often visit orphanages  and schools to inspire and give an experince with art and music.

What lies in my heart?

Take care of the earth, plant trees…!

My message has always been single minded and focused: I urge all who connect with me and my art to take care of the earth…to treasure it…to learn all we can about it…to cultivate it…. I’m involved in tree planting projects and preservation of water…. cleaning beaches …. (I do this regular with the “Noble Queens of the Universe – Respect”

Think health…think preservation and conservation not destruction…think positive thoughts to inspire each other to better care for ourselves, each other, and our collective home, the planet earth.

Take care of earth became so prevalent so I received an  “Ambassador Queen of the Environment” 2019.  This was a total surprise for me because I have always felt that I just do what a citizen of our planet Earth suppose to do.

Latest Works… Into the Future!

“Futuristic with love” is the phrase I’ve used since 2018 to describe my work.

My travels to more than 96 countries over seven continents have given me a deep ecological sensibility from the varied life of culture and experiences. It has become a constant evolution of talent, ideas, and beliefs that I like to share with the audience. You will fully appreciate that in my first book which was released last January 2023.

As I think in pictures I see full-color, 3D movies in my brain when I hear music…. This is what later comes onto the page. Lately, I have appreciated how much just one word can describe a feeling …. As carefully and expressively as colors are, so are words. My heritage as a Scandinavian Viking, now living in the Philippines, makes me merge the two cultures together with my everlasting love for the environment.
